A new Erasmus+ course for a more sustainable blue economy!
The WANTOFISH project is currently developing a digital-based training course aimed at raising awareness on water footprint in fisheries and aquaculture across the Mediterranean

5 full modules – 54 hours – 2 ECTS Online & flexible learning (texts, videos, podcasts, quizzes, case studies) Based on real Mediterranean case studies Final project + exam to consolidate your knowledge
Course modules will include:
Introduction to water footprint in fisheries and aquaculture
Water footprint in the commercial fishery
Water footprint in aquaculture
Water footprint in fish processing facilities
Innovations to reduce water use in the sector
The course will be delivered on a dedicated Moodle platform, with user-friendly materials, interactive activities and trainer support.
It is designed for university students, lecturers and professionals in the fisheries and sustainability sectors.
