🤖💙 TOKADI arrives in the classroom: emotional robotics and inclusion in action
The European TOKADI project, part of the Robots4Inclusion initiative, has been successfully implemented in six educational centers in Catalonia:
📍Teide School
📍Pablo Neruda Public School
📍Montserrat School
📍SIL School
📍La Mina School
📍Pablo Neruda School
Thanks to this innovative proposal, more than 200 elementary school children have had a unique experience in which robotics is combined with emotional education and inclusion.
The protagonist of the project is TOKADI, a friendly turtle-shaped robot that guides students through activities to identify emotions, learn to cooperate, and value diversity.
🌟 Results that will move you
📊 Data collected through questionnaires with students and teachers demonstrate that TOKADI has generated:
✅ Greater emotional awareness in the classroom
✅ Improved coexistence and respect among classmates
✅ Interest in technology with a pedagogical purpose
✅ Positive evaluation of teamwork
🧠👧 A complete educational experience
Each session has been an opportunity to talk about emotions, reflect on values, and learn from practice. The teachers emphasize that TOKADI has fostered a safe, motivating, and emotionally meaningful learning environment.
💬 “TOKADI has given our students a voice. We have worked on empathy in a playful and in-depth way.” — Participating teacher
📣 Bring TOKADI to your school!
