Erasmus+ Mental Health & Digital Wellbeing Training in Barcelona – February 2026
From 15 to 21 February 2026, M&M Profuture Training organised an international Erasmus+ staff training experience in Barcelona focused on mental health, digital wellbeing, intergenerational collaboration and artificial intelligence for ageing societies.
The programme brought together education and social professionals interested in exploring how digital technologies can support mental wellbeing, social inclusion and lifelong learning.
Connecting Mental Health, Digital Skills and Inclusion
The course, Mental Health & ICT: Digital Wellbeing, Intergenerational Collaboration & AI for Ageing Societies, addressed the relationship between emotional wellbeing, technological change and the challenges faced by ageing populations.
The training explored several interconnected topics:
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing in ageing societies.
- Digital inclusion and confidence in using technology.
- Intergenerational learning and collaboration.
- Opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence.
- Age-related stereotypes and barriers to digital participation.
- Human-centred approaches to education and social inclusion.
The programme provided an international learning environment in which participants could reflect on these challenges and consider their application in educational and social contexts.

Erasmus+ staff training workshop on digital inclusion and intergenerational learning
From Erasmus+ Training to Local Knowledge Sharing
One particularly valuable outcome came from the Greek Institute of Psychosocial Development (IPSA).
Three professionals from the organisation participated in the Barcelona training and subsequently shared their learning with colleagues, associates and volunteers in Greece.
On 6 April 2026, IPSA organised a knowledge-sharing session addressing digital wellbeing, intergenerational collaboration, artificial intelligence and stereotypes surrounding older adults.
This follow-up activity illustrates how Erasmus+ staff training can extend beyond the mobility itself, supporting the transfer of knowledge and professional development within participating organisations.
Our Erasmus+ Training Through Participants’ Eyes
One of the most rewarding aspects of Erasmus+ mobility is seeing how participants share their experiences and transfer their learning beyond the training programme.
We are pleased to highlight experiences shared by participating organisations from Portugal and Greece.
🇵🇹 Portugal – Sharing the Erasmus+ Experience
Our Portuguese participants shared a reel capturing moments from their Erasmus+ mobility experience in Barcelona.
Discover their perspective and take a look at the experience they shared on social media.

🇬🇷 Greece – Sharing Knowledge Beyond Barcelona
Following their training experience in Barcelona, three professionals from the Institute of Psychosocial Development (IPSA) shared their learning with colleagues, associates and volunteers in Greece.
Their follow-up session, held on 6 April 2026, addressed digital wellbeing, intergenerational collaboration and artificial intelligence.
This is an example of how Erasmus+ mobility can generate learning opportunities beyond the original training activity.
