Barcelona hosted the Future-STEM Hub Erasmus+ transnational meeting and teacher training from 9 to 13 February 2026, bringing together European partners to advance Artificial Intelligence and STEM education in secondary schools.

Organised by M&M Profuture Training, the week combined strategic project management discussions with hands-on AI and Python training sessions for educators.


9 February 2026 – Project Management Meeting in Barcelona

The week began with the official transnational project meeting of the Future-STEM Hub consortium.

Project partners reviewed:

  • Progress of WP2 – Curriculum Development

  • Development of WP3 – Teacher Training Framework

  • Upcoming deliverables and timelines

  • Implementation strategy in partner countries

  • Dissemination and sustainability actions

The meeting strengthened coordination among partners and ensured alignment on the next implementation phase of the Erasmus+ project.

10–13 February 2026 – AI and STEM Teacher Training

From 10 to 13 February, partners participated in an intensive training programme focused on implementing the materials developed under WP2 and WP3.

Key Training Topics

  • Artificial Intelligence in secondary education

  • Introduction to Python programming

  • Computational thinking methodologies

  • Digital pedagogies for STEM subjects

  • Practical classroom application and lesson design

The training combined theory and practice, ensuring that teachers and educational stakeholders gain concrete tools to introduce AI-based learning into real classroom contexts.


Strengthening AI and STEM Education Across Europe

The Future-STEM Hub project aims to modernise STEM education by integrating Artificial Intelligence, digital competences and innovative pedagogical approaches into secondary schools.

By developing structured curricula, teacher training frameworks and practical resources, the project supports:

  • Digital transformation in education

  • AI literacy for young learners

  • Improved STEM competences

  • Cross-European educational cooperation

The Barcelona meeting marked an important milestone in ensuring quality implementation and pedagogical coherence across all partner countries.
