Erasmus+ Job Shadowing in Barcelona Promoted Inclusive Education and Personalised Learning
From 17 to 28 March 2026, Barcelona hosted an Erasmus+ Job Shadowing mobility within the project “Quality Education Through Diversity: Adaptive Methods and Personalized Approach in the Classroom” (2025-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000317391). The activity was coordinated by M&M Profuture Training and brought together teachers from Bulgaria to explore inclusive and adaptive educational practices in real classroom environments.
The programme combined classroom observation, participative activities and professional exchange focused on active learning methodologies, differentiated instruction and strategies to support students with diverse educational needs. The mobility aimed to strengthen teachers’ competences through observation of practitioners, exchange of good practices and collaborative learning experiences.
The job shadowing activities took place at CEIP Pablo Neruda, where participants observed educational approaches across different age groups and learning contexts. The programme included classroom observation in early childhood and primary education, participation in inclusion support activities, and exchanges with specialists working in educational inclusion services such as MESI and CEEPSIR.
During the mobility, participants explored:
- Inclusive classroom methodologies
- Active learning and student engagement strategies
- Support systems for students with special educational needs
- Small-group and differentiated learning approaches
- School garden and interdisciplinary learning activities
- Reception classrooms for newly arrived students
- Collaborative and participatory educational practices
Teachers also prepared and implemented activities together with local students and educators, encouraging intercultural exchange and practical collaboration between Bulgarian and Spanish educational communities.
The mobility represented an important opportunity to reflect on how schools can adapt educational methodologies to respond to mixed ability groups, diverse learning styles and inclusive educational environments. The experience also reinforced the importance of international cooperation and peer learning within the Erasmus+ framework.
In addition to the professional activities, participants had the opportunity to discover Barcelona’s educational, cultural and social environment, further enriching the intercultural dimension of the project.
At M&M Profuture Training, we are proud to continue supporting international mobility experiences that promote innovation, inclusion and quality education through Erasmus+ cooperation projects.
